AZ GRILLED CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS
  • 3/4 c. balsamic vinegar
  • check
    1 tsp. garlic powder
  • check
    2 tbsp. honey
  • check
    2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • check
    2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • check
    Kosher salt to taste
  • check
    Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • check
    4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • check
    4 slices Havarti cheese
  • check
    4 slices avocado
  • check
    4 slices tomato
  • check
    2 tbsp. sliced basil
  • check
    Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
DIRECTIONS

    In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, honey, oil, and Italian seasoning.  Season chicken with salt and pepper. Pour marinade over chicken breasts and marinate for 20 minutes.

    Heat grill to medium high. Grill chicken until internal temperature reaches 170ºF on an instant-read thermometer.

    Top chicken with Havarti, avocado and tomato and cover grill to melt, 2 minutes.

    Garnish with basil and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
